Gauge, cuffs, sleeve increases...and mod

Here's the stats. (Without wash/block and while sitting on sofa ...)
Addi turbo US8, Cascade Pastaza
Gauge: 5 st/6 rows per inch
Cuffs: ~9.5 inches

Sleeve increases and mod
So I am sitting here reading the sleeve instruction ... a thought occured to me.. *utoh*. Even at 9.5 inches wide, the cuffs and the sleeves doesnt have the ease I was hoping for. What to do... I can frog.. or I can mod. Then I looked a the cuff again... and wonder .. perhaps I can add a set of cables to the 'underside' of the sleeve. I think so ...

Obessive compulsive over here. My stitch gauge is off. However, it is very unlikely I can correct it to the 4.5st/in specified in the pattern.

I am now leaning towards froggin' and recalculating. It is only a dozen' hours worth of work. :*( I will be away from Rogue for a week! Oh the horror. See ya'll when I get back.

Hm, good luck! I have yet to cast on. I meant to yesterday but I ran out of time. Tonight my schedule is free and clear, it will be a roguey night for me!

I slept on it... adding another cable is a bad idea. I also hate froggin' .. Since I am heading outta town, I am going to leave it to stew a little.

[did I already leave a comment?]

so you would rip both sleeves and restart, casting on an extra 23 stitches so you have two cables on either side?
