Sleeves CO
The pattern specifies 45 stitches.I casted on 45 stitches + 2 * (1+1)= 49. I added two sets of M1 to the CO so I will have a wider cuff. I worked St st for 6 rows and knit together with the live stitch. I think I will stop here. It has been a dramatic night...
All the 'first' for tonight:
- first crochet chain cast on (provisional)
- first time using Addi Turbo
- first garment
- first time working two sleeves at once
- first evening with the house heater on

Excellent! I did a teeny tiny provisional cast-on (crochet) for Knitty's Coronet hat, but that's only 17 stitches. I found that I had to use a huge needle to get the chain loose enough.

I did not do a crochet chain for the mohair. (Partly cause the instruction didnt specify and I didnt know there's a better way). So I did a 'regular' cast on and picked the waste yarn out stitch by stitch. duh.

I thought you used the provisional cast-on with the stole? How do you like the addis?
