I got crazy this weekend and wanted to do the needlecase. I started by cutting fabric and sewing the plastic pockets to the interior fabric. Then I made a pocket and put batting inside.
Here it is. Now the sushi one from the Organized Knitter has a friend :).
Finally ... after six billion years and whinning about no knitting time ... frogging and reknitting the neckline. VK Michael Kors Aran (from Winter 2005) is finished. The sleeves are actually the right length .. but the body is just a -><- wide. That is well .. maybe ... a little dryer heat.. may fix. Overall, I am happy with the sweater. It is straight forward and interesting knit.
.. since my last post. The calendar on my desk says "June 8", we skipped the whole month of June on the calendar in the kitchen.
My craft and personal time has dwindle to almost non-existent. I did manage a sum total of about six hours of knitting (since mid-June) to show a few row of the sleeves. And a couple pieces of fabric for various project. Pics of those some other time.
