.... a few nights ago, I was working on body of bear ... DH and I play this guessing game, to see if he can guess what it is that I am working on. I am always amazed that he can so easily identify what it is.
[...]
DH: it is a jumpsuit .. or an outfit
[looks at the pattern...]
DH: See, I was right. He is ...
me: He is a boy?
DH: Yes.
me: Why is 'it' a boy?
DH: Cause of the color
me: [picks up the pattern]
are they all boys?
DH: no, the white one is a girl

forgetting...

... is my way of living in the moment, think positively, and not dwell on what I can not control. It is my strategy on coping, along with more crafting (more gardening, more baking, more cooking, more walkies, more reading, more family, etc!) Translation: more everything to prevent the broken record that would otherwise play in my head and drives me insane. Well, enough of that ...

I finished a cute little lacy scarf (Ravelry link)

After a glance of my posts, I realized I forgot to post Chanson Capelet. whoops. (Ravelry link)

Tawashi(s) and a custom plain sweater

... also used as window decorations.

(when there was only Chick and Panda)

G: How many of these are you going to make?
me: I dunno.
[pause, G looking at the window]
G: You will need 33 to [fill up the window].

So G picked the next one, the Penguin ... and immediately picked another one (without me asking!) alligator.

I did finish the sweater Dad ordered :)... mmm. a lot of stst. (ravelry link)

More crochet

Ravelry link This was fun in a I-just-made-a-giant-doily sort of way. The instruction was a bit cryptic. I am still learning the crochet-way of patterns.

After this bit of success with crochet. I went head first into tawashi-land with J ... The fun yarn is an anti-bacterial bulky acrylic Japanese yarn, mmm acrylic. Ravelry link

The crafty hobby has been good to me. It is keeping me focused, along with catch-up on yardwork/garden ... in between the insanity of unemployment / looking for work. Feeling thankful today :)
